    With many inches predicted to be dumped in the next few days upstream, which means they will be coming downstream, there’s not much sense in putting humpty d’orleans back together again right now.

    Clearly, the feds should have seen this coming and reinforced the entire levee system with the government’s endless supply of multi-ton sandbags.

    Obviously the levees were blown up by Bush minions. He is carefully building an alibi by being seen other places to deflect suspicion.
