News?
: The White House released the Aug. 6 briefing before 6:15 tonight. It’s now 7:45 and I’m still waiting for someone — the AP, Reuters, the NY Times, the Washington Post — to post the page and a half source document.

: Charlie, in the comments, says that Command Post has a link to the doc on FoxNews.

However, the Command Post folks have it, via Fox News.

MSNBC finally has it, timestamped 7:19. CNN has a photo of a couple of lines with a black redaction through it.

Hmm… Now CNN has it, timestamped 6:51 PM EDT (2251Z). This is weird.

Very weird. We have it timestamped 6:53 and 6:52 (it was posted in two different sections). I know for a fact that CNN did NOT have the document up at that time. I always check those things because we almost always beat CNN to the punch.
FOX is always way ahead of the curve as far as news websites go. which is why I go them first when something is breaking.

I think it must be something like this: CNN writer writes the story and timestamps it at submission; editor [del]pees in it until it tastes good[/del] edits it; webgeek puts it through publishing process; it appears on the web site still timestamped as of submission.
