Cut the ropes
: Edwards is challenging Kerry to a one-on-one debate. Amen. Let all the others float away; they’re not in this race anymore. I want to see these guys go up against each other to fight for my vote.

Cut the ropes
: Edwards is challenging Kerry to a one-on-one debate. Amen. Let all the others float away; they’re not in this race anymore. I want to see these guys go up against each other to fight for my vote.
Every time you think this race is over…
: … it isn’t.
Humorless
: John Lee accuses Gawker and Wonkette of racism and only shows himself to be a humorless sap and a really bad writer: “These sites stand as two towers forming a portcullis that bars the entry for those not of their ilk by rapier wit, snark and innuendo.”
Head of the class
: Go read Joi Ito‘s response to the critiques of blogs by Chris Albritton’s students at NYU. (This is making me rethink how I’ll have a class critique blogs in a class I’m soon to teach — details later. It’s hard to pick up a blog and figure it out in a day.)
The problem with the people
: Watching American Idol right now and they all suck. This is the problem with a show of the people; you can’t engineer it to find real talent when the contestants are talentless. Populism has its limitations.
Exit
: Drudge sneaks the exit polls again and says the polls were wrong: Edwards is a strong No. 2 in Wisconsin and Dean is baked bread with jam and butter on it.
: Current estimate on Fox: Kerry 39, Edwards 34, Dean 18. Much stronger showing by Edwards than predicted, much worse for Dean.
If Dean stays, he might as well support Ralph Nader.
Iraqi press monitor
: The Institute for War and Peace Reporting has a neat and useful feature: a daily digest of news translated from Iraqi newspapers.
Ralph Don’t Run
: FoxNews just gave some exposure to RalphDontRun.net.
