: How much responsibilty does Joseph Lelyveld bear for Jayson Blair?

    That depends on whether he was aware of the lies and deceptions of Blair. If he was, then yes. If he heard of them and made no effort to investigate, then yes. Otherwise, those whom had the helm during the worst of his (Blair’s) dishonesty have already been made accountable.
